The Mercedes-AMG GT has been redesigned for the 2024 model year with some big changes, like available 2+2 seats and more power under the hood.

The 2024 AMG GT Coupe will be available in two versions, the GT 55 Coupe with 469 horsepower and the GT 63 Coupe with 577 horsepower. Both versions are powered by a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 that’s mated to a nine-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive. The GT 63 can reach 60 mph in 3.1 seconds, while the GT 55 needs 3.8 seconds to reach that speed.

In terms of styling, the new AMG GT gets an evolutionary redesign that doesn’t stray too far from the prior generation. The big news is that the interior is now available in a 2+2 seating configuration, but those back seats are only going to fit riders that are shorter than five feet tall.

A new AMG Track Pace app displays the AMG GT’s performance data on the infotainment screen and there are other tech upgrades to the MBUX infotainment system and an augmented reality camera view.
