EV buyers that were sad about the discontinuation of the affordable Chevy Bolt now have a new option – the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV. While most new EVs are far out of reach for budget conscious buyers, Chevy has announced that the Equinox EV will start at an attainable $34,995.

2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV 1LT

If you qualify for the federal EV tax credit, the starting price drops to $27,495. The good news is that the credit can now be applied at the dealer. Chevy has not announced the pricing for the all-wheel drive version.

2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV 3LT

The range of the front-wheel drive Equinox comes in at 319 miles. Using a DC fast charger at 150 kw, about 70 miles of range can be added in 10 minutes.

Front-wheel drive models are powered by a single electric motor with 213 horsepower, while all-wheel drive models get dual electric motors that generate a combined 288 hp.
