We’ve loved the Kia Stinger ever since it was introduced, but unfortunately sales never really took off. Now Kia is getting ready to end production of the Stinger, but before it does, it’s introduced the limited Stinger Tribute Edition.
The Stinger Tribute Edition is based on the Stinger GT with its turbocharged 3.3-liter V6. It can be painted in either Ascot Green or a new Moonscape matte gray. Black finish has been added to the mirrors, the Brembo brake calipers are also painted in black and it rides on 19-inch gloss black wheels.
The cabin gets bespoke Terracotta brown leather and a carbon-effect finish on the console upper cover and the door panels. The headrests also get a wasp-shaped emblem and there’s a numbered door sill plate on the driver’s side confirms that it is one of the 1,000 units built.
“The Stinger Tribute Edition denotes an important chapter in the story of Kia’s high-performance ethos. Featuring an exclusive color and interior trim never before seen on the sedan, it also serves as a fitting celebration of the Stinger’s contribution to the Kia brand,” said Chang Sung Ryu, Senior Vice President and Head of Purchase CX Design Sub-division.
