Honda has announced that it has started production of the 2023 Pilot at its plant in Lincoln, Alabama.
The fourth generation Pilot is Honda’s biggest SUV yet, since it’s longer and wider than the last generation. On the outside it gets a more rugged look compared to the last one with its minivan-like styling. The 2023 Pilot also gets a new 3.5-liter V6 that generates 285 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque and is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
It’s available in five trim levels: Sport, EX-L, Touring, Elite and TrailSport.
The 2023 Honda Pilot TrailSport is the more rugged version with its raised off-road tuned suspension with an inch more ground clearance, all-terrain tires, thick steel skid plates protecting the engine and fuel tank and upgraded all-wheel drive system.
The pricing for the 2023 Honda Pilot starts at $40,445.
