Chevy is upping the performance of the 2023 Tahoe with the introduction of the 2023 Tahoe RST Performance Edition. It’s powered by a 6.2-liter V8 that generates 433 horsepower and 467 pound-feet of torque, which is an increase of 13 hp and 7 lb-ft. over the current Tahoe RST.

In addition to the extra power under the hood, the Tahoe RST Performance Edition gets unique springs, retuned dampers and chassis modifications that are borrowed from the police-spec Tahoe. It also has a 0.4-inch lower ride height in the front and a 0.8-inch lower height in the rear. Stopping power is provided by Brembo front and rear brakes with Torch Red calipers. The front brake rotors are almost 25 percent larger than the standard rotors on the RST.

The Tahoe RST Performance rides on 20-inch black wheels with police-spec Firestone Firehawk Pursuit 275/55R20 tires.

Chevy says that the Tahoe RST Performance Edition can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.78 seconds, compared to 5.95 seconds for the standard RST. The pricing for the RST Performance Edition package starts at $8,825.
