Cadillac originally unveiled the Escalade-V in January, but it stopped short of releasing any info about what’s under the hood. Well we have to wait about two months to get all the details about the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V until May 11.

We’re eager to see what will power the Escalade-V, although most signs point to it getting the same supercharged 6.2-liter V8 as the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. In the CT5-V the V8 generates 668 horsepower and 649 pound-feet of torque. The V8 will be mated to a 10-speed automatic and all-wheel drive.

The supercharged V8 is not the only performance upgrade, since we expect the Escalade-V to get a sportier version of Cadillac’s Magnetic Ride Control adaptive suspension. We can also see that it will get upgraded brakes.
