Volkswagen has announced the pricing for the updated 2022 Jetta, which starts at $21,190, including the destination charge. At the sportier end of the lineup, there’s also the Jetta GLI, which is priced at $31,990.

2022 VW Jetta

The 2022 Jetta is offered in four trim levels: S, Sport, SE and SEL. The Jetta GLI is only offered in one trim – Autobahn. The Jetta is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 158 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. The Jetta GLI gets a more fun 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 228 hp and 258 lb-ft. The Jetta is available with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic, while the Jetta GLI either gets the manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The VW Jetta comes standard with 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights, automatic headlights, the 8-inch Digital Cockpit, and a 6.5-inch infotainment system. A larger 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Pro and a 8.0-inch infotainment system are are standard on the SEL and Autobahn trim levels.
