On the outside the biggest change is at the front where the Tiguan’s face gets a new grille, headlights and bumper. The revised face gives the Tiguan a sharper, more distinct look. At the rear the Tiguan name is spelled out across, just like the Arteon and Taos. Lastly there are new alloy wheels and new colors, like Oryx White and Kings Red Metallic.

The 2022 Tiguan is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 184 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque, which is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is optional.

The 2022 VW Tiguan will arrive in the third quarter of this year.
