Lexus has unveiled the 2022 ES sedan which is getting a few updates for the new model year. The biggest news is the new touchscreen infotainment system and bi-LED headlights.

The ES is available with either an 8- or 12.3-inch infotainment system and now both of them have touchscreen functionality. The new displays have also been moved forward 4.3-inches. The 2022 ES also now has a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Lexus Safety System+ 2.5. The new system features an enhanced lens camera and millimeter-wave radar elements to expand the response range, plus it also gets Intersection Turning Assist, which can prevent a collision when turning left or detect a pedestrian.

2022 Lexus ES

On the outside the 2022 ES gets a new grille pattern and new wheel designs.

To make it more fun to drive, the ES has new rear suspension member brace to further enhance torsional rigidity, and handling stability. The ES brake system has also been updated. A new Dynamic Handling Package, is available for the ES 350 F Sport and it includes Sport+ and Custom Drive modes, Intuitive Parking Assist and an Adaptive Variable Suspension. Lastly the ES 300h hybrid is now available in the F Sport trim level.
