A few months ago Kia unveiled the all-new bolder Kia Sportage, but for the first time Kia has decided to create a special version just for Europe. The European-spec 2022 Kia Sportage looks similar to the global model, which will get in the US as a 2023 model, but it has a shorter wheelbase.
The global model has a 108.4-inch wheelbase, while Europe’s version gets a shorter 105.51 inch wheelbase. It’s also 5.7-inches shorter. The differences are evident when you look at the side profile, since the rear doors are shorter and there isn’t a window on the rear quarter panel.
The rest of the 2022 Kia Sportage is the same with a more modern interior that features two digital screens. The European-spec Sportage will also be available with a range of gasoline, diesel, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
