At the front the 2023 Sportage gets an evolution of Kia’s tiger nose grille that’s flanked by boomerang-shaped DRLs and distinctive headlights. At the rear we see some of the same styling cues that grace the EV6 electric crossover.

Inside there’s a curved display that houses both the digital gauge cluster and infotainment screen. Kia has not announced how big the screen is, but we like how modern and upscale it looks.

Kia has not announced what will power the 2023 Sportage, but since it shares its platform with the Hyundai Tucson, we expect it to have the same engines. This means the base engine will likely be a naturally aspirated four-cylinder, while a turbocharged engine will be available. We can also expect hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions.

We should have more details soon, since the it’s slated to go on sale globally later this year. We’ll also have to wait to hear the US-spec details.
