Kia has just dropped the first photo of the fourth-generation Kia Sedona’s interior. When the new Sedona/ Carnival arrives in the US early next year, it will rival the Chrysler Pacifica, Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna and it looks like Kia is ready to battle with an interior that’s packed with new tech features.

The 2022 Kia Sedona will feature two 12.3-inch digital screens that are connected by one piece of glass. In front of the driver there’s a 12.3-inch digital driver instrument cluster and in the center of the dashboard there’s a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment and navigation system. A shift-by-wire dial for the transmission sits at the base of the center console.

There’s also more room inside, since the 2022 Sedona has a longer wheelbase, a longer rear overhang, and a wider body. Depending on which market you’re in, you can also get either three or four rows of seats, with space for 7, 9 or 11 occupants.

The new Sedona also offers more storage options for occupants and ways to charge electronic devices. Second-row occupants have access to back-of-seat USB chargers, storage nets for mobile devices, and a new storage drawer in the base of the rear console, with a tray for storing tablets or phones above a larger storage area.

Kia has not announced what engine will power the new Sedona.
