We’re obviously big fans of the manual transmission, so it’s always great news when we find out a new vehicle comes with three pedals. Cadillac has announced that the 2022 CT-4-V Blackwing and CT-5 Blackwing will come standard with a six-speed manual transmission.
The manual transmissions will be produced using 3D-printed parts, including two HVAC ducts, an electrical harness bracket and the medallion on the manual shifter knob.
“There are a few ways to really get that connected feel with the vehicle and the manual transmission is probably the most obvious one,” said Mirza Grebovic, Cadillac performance variant manager.
For buyers that want an automatic, both models will be offered with a 10-speed automatic transmission when the arrive in summer 2021.
