Audi recently introduced the e-tron GT, but it’s not stopping there. Audi is getting ready to introduce its fourth e-tron electric vehicle, the 2022 Q4 e-tron compact electric SUV. Audi has released a new batch of teasers ahead of the Q4 e-tron’s world debut in April.
The 2022 Q4 e-tron was previewed by the Q4 e-tron concept that we saw in 2019. It’s based on Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, which is also used by the 2021 Volkswagen ID.4. The Q4 e-tron is also about the same size as the ID.4.
Inside the Q4 e-tron is packed with tech features, like a 10.3-inch digital cluster “virtual cockpit”. For the MMI infotainment system, there’s either a standard 10.1-inch display or optional 11.6-inch display. In front of the driver, there’s a new augmented-reality head-up display. The display not only projects the typical driving information, but it also can superimpose navigation elements on the windshield.
Audi has yet to give us any details about the Q4 e-tron’s powertrain, so we’ll have to wait until next month to get the battery specs.
