The 2021 Nissan Rogue is getting a new engine, according to the EPA website. Fueleconomy.gov has listed its fuel economy rating for a new turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine.

The new 1.5-liter is rated at 30 mpg city, 37 mpg highway and 33 mpg combined with front-wheel drive and 30/36/33 mpg with all-wheel drive. That’s an improvement over the larger 2.5-liter engine, which is rated at 27/35/30 mpg with front-wheel drive and 26/33/29 mpg with all-wheel drive.

Nissan has not officially announced the new engine, so we don’t have any power or torque specs for the 1.5-liter.
