Honda has announced the updates to the 2021 Honda Insight, which is getting only one big update for the new model year. The old LaneWatch system has been replaced by a more useful traditional blind spot monitor with a cross traffic monitor on the EX and Touring trim levels.

The only other change to the 2021 Insight is the addition of a new exterior color – Radiant Red Metallic.

The 2021 Insight is powered by a 1.5-liter, two motor hybrid system that is rated at up to 55 mpg in the city, 49 mpg highway and 42 mpg combined. The Insight is offered in three trim levels: LX, EX and Touring. The 2021 Insight starts at $23,885 with the destination fees, which is the same starting price as the 2020 Insight. The EX and Touring trim levels gets a $500 price increase with a starting price at $25,765 and $29,795, respectively.
