Cadillac has unveiled the all-new 2021 Cadillac Escalade, which is easily the brand’s most iconic model in its current lineup. The 2021 Escalade not only debuts with a range of new tech features, but also arrives with more room and even an optional diesel engine.

The 2021 Escalade has grown, just like its Chevy and GMC cousins. The 2021 Escalade is based on a new platform, which gives it a lot more interior space, largely thanks to a longer wheelbase and new independent rear suspension. There’s 40 percent (10-inches) more third-row legroom and a 68 percent increase in maximum cargo space behind the third row in the standard-length model.

Under the hood buyers will be able to choose between either a new 420 horsepower 6.2-liter V8 or a 3.0L turbo-diesel engine. Both engines are mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The 2021 Escalade also gets lots of new features, like a new air ride adaptive suspension, an electronic limited-slip differential, plus magnetic ride control.

On the tech front, the 2021 Escalade like an OLED display with more than 38 inches of total diagonal display area. The system includes three screens: a 7.2-inch touch control panel driver information center to the driver’s left, a 14.2-inch cluster display behind the steering wheel and a 16.9-inch infotainment screen to the driver’s right. There’s even a new 36 speaker audio system.

It also gets augmented reality-enabled navigation, a trailer integration package, night vision and a new rear entertainment system with two 12.6-inch displays.

The biggest tech news is that the 2021 Escalade also gets Cadillac’s latest version of its Super Cruise driver assistance technology, which allows for hands free driving on the highway and it can also make lane changes for you.

The 2021 Cadillac Escalade will arrive by the end of 2020.
