Toyota gave the 2019 Toyota Prius several upgrades, including a slightly less polarizing exterior, but what it didn’t include were some tech features, like Apple CarPlay. Well now Toyota has fixed it, since the 2020 Prius now offers Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa connectivity.

2020 Prius L Eco, LE and XLE models come standard with a 7-inch touchscreen display and all trim levels now come standard with the Safety Connect, which includes emergency assistance, stolen vehicle locator, roadside assistance and automatic collision notification.

Just like before, the 2020 Prius is powered by a 1.8L hybrid powertrain. The Prius L Eco trim level is rated at 58 mpg city / 53 mpg highway / 56 mpg combined. The LE, XLE and Limited trim levels are rated at 54 mpg city / 50 mpg highway / 52 mpg combined.

If you need all-wheel drive, there’s also the Prius AWD-e model, which features an electric motor on the rear axle that powers the rear wheels away from a stop up to 6 mph, and then at speeds up to 43 mph when extra traction is needed. The Prius AWD-e is rated at 52 mpg city / 48 mpg highway / 50 mpg combined.
