Subaru has announced the updates to the 2020 BRZ with the big news being the return of the BRZ tS.

The 2020 BRZ will be offered in two trim levels, Limited and tS with the BRZ Limited trim level being priced at $29,745, while the tS starts at $32,395, including the destination fees. The 2020 BRZ is powered by a 205 hp, 2.0-literĀ four-cylinder boxer engine that can be mated to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. If you choose the automatic, the horsepower rating drops to 200-hp.

The 2020 BRZ comes standard with Keyless Access with Push-Button Start, dual-zone automatic climate control, LED headlights, rear vision camera, dual USB ports and power door locks, side mirrors and windows, and LED fog lights. Inside there’s a 7-inch touchscreen with a navigation system, plus Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

A Performance Package is available for the Limited trim with manual transmission, which adds a Brembo braking system, SACHS Performance shock absorbers and unique 17 x 7.5-inch aluminum alloy wheels in dark gray finish. The BRZ Performance Package is priced at $1,195.

The BRZ tS gets suspension upgrades including STI-tuned front and rear SACHS dampers and coil springs, plus an STI flexible V-brace in the engine compartment. Draw stiffeners are added to the chassis and sub-frame to improve steering response and a Brembo braking system has been added. The 2020 BRZ tS comes only in Ceramic White with 18-inch wheels in a matte-bronze finish. Other differentiators are a Cherry Blossom Red accent on the front grille and rear bumper, plus a tS badge on the grille and rear decklid. Lastly the fog lights have been removed and replaced with black fog light insert covers. The tS logo has also been added to the seats.

Subaru only plans to build 300 units of the BRZ tS.
