The Mazda3 was completely redesigned for the 2019 model year, but Mazda has managed to add a few more updates to the 2020 Mazda3. The big news is that the 2020 Mazda3 will come standard with the i-Activsense driver-assist features, which were previously optional on the Mazda3 sedan, but standard on the hatchback.

That means that the base 2020 Mazda3 now comes standard with a blind-spot monitor, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking. The Mazda3 is powered by a 186-hp 2.5L four-cylinder engine that can be mated to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The Mazda3 is also available with all-wheel drive.

The pricing for the 2020 Mazda3 has gone up slightly with the base Mazda3 now starting at $22,420, while the base hatchback now starts at $24,620.
