GMC is giving the 2020 Acadia a refresh, which includes not only a “bolder” exterior, but also an available 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

On the outside, the 2020 GMC Acadia gets several updates to give a “bolder” exterior. There’s a new grille, restyled front and rear fascias and new C-shaped lighting. The 2020 Acadia also sees the introduction of the Acadia AT4, which gives it a slightly more rugged look with its black chrome-accented grille and unique 17-inch wheels.

Inside the 2020 Acadia gets a redesigned center console more storage space and the Acadia Denali gets new open-pore wood. The Acadia’s infotainment system has also been updated, which GMC says isĀ “more intelligent and more intuitive.” Wireless charging for your phone is available, as well as a new HD rear camera and the Rear Camera Mirror.

Acadia SLT and Denali models also get a new 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 230 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. of torque. The 2.5L four-cylinder and 3.6L V6 engines are also still available. All three engines are mated to a new nine-speed automatic. Lastly the 2020 Acadia did get some suspension improvements to help its ride and handling.

The 2020 GMC Acadia will arrive this fall.
