Acura has announced that the 2020 MDX and MDX Sport Hybrid are now available, with the pricing starting at $45,395 and $53,895, respectively. We already know that Acura is preparing an all-new MDX for 2021, so the updates to the current MDX are minimal.

The 2020 MDX is available in base, Tech and Advance package options. The sportier MDX A-Spec adds unique exterior styling, high-contrast seat and door panel stitching and contrasting front seat side garnishes. The front passenger seat now has 4-way power lumbar adjustments and there’s a “walk through” second-row seat configuration on Technology and Entertainment packages, while the MDX Advance package adds a matching wood center console.

The 2020 MDX is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 290 horsepower and 267 lb.-ft. of torque, that’s mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The 2020 MDX with front-wheel drive is rated at 20/27 mpg, while the all-wheel drive models are rated at 19/26 mpg.

The MDX Sport Hybrid is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine and three-motor Sport Hybrid Super Handling-All Wheel Drive system. The hybrid powertrain generates a combined 321 horsepower and 289 lb.-ft. of torque. The MDX Sport Hybrid has a 27 mpg combined rating.
