The 2019 VW Arteon is finally here and VW has announced the pricing, which starts at $36,840, for the front-wheel drive SE model, including the destination fees. If you want all-wheel drive, the base SE 4Motion starts at $38,640.
The 2019 VW Arteon will be offered in four trim levels: SE, SEL, and SEL Premium. The sporty R-Line appearance package is also available with each trim level.
The Arteon comes standard with a 2.0-liter turbocharged TSI four-cylinder engine with 268 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The four-cylinder is mated to an eight speed automatic transmission and buyers can choose either front or 4Motion all-wheel drive.
To improve its driving dynamics, the Arteon comes standard with the DCC adaptive damping system, which manages the suspension’s rebound and compression rates individually.
