Toyota has unveiled the 2019 Toyota 86 TRD Special Edition, which it calls the “ultimate performance” version of the 86. The 2019 Toyota 86 TRD Special Edition gets several performance upgrades, while the interior also gets a little bit more luxurious.

The 2019 Toyota 86 TRD Special Edition adds SACHS dampers, Brembo brakes, and unique 18 x 7.5-in. alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. Toyota says that the SACHS dampers improve the 86’s steering response, while also refining its stability. The upgraded Brembo brakes will help the 86 stop at a moment’s notice and the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires also add more grip. Sadly there aren’t any upgrades to the 205-hp 2.0L boxer engine.

It’s finished off with a TRD exhaust with brushed stainless steel tips.
