The updated 2019 Porsche Macan is slated to have its US debut next week at the LA Auto Show, but if you’re hoping to get one now you’ll be disappointed. Porsche has confirmed that the 2019 Macan won’t arrive at US dealers until next summer.
The biggest changes you’ll notice to the 2019 Porsche Macan are at the back, where the rear fascia now features a full width LED light strip that’s similar to the new Cayenne. The front also gets new standard LED headlights, while the interior gets a new 10.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The new infotainment system features navigation, Porsche Connect Plus, a WLAN hotspot and other Porsche Connect services. Apple CarPlay is also optional. The optional adaptive cruise control also new features a new Traffic Jam Assist function that can accelerate, brake, and keep the Macan within a marked lane at speeds up to 40 mph.
The base Macan is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine with 248 horsepower and 273 lb-ft. of torque, that’s mated to a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. The 2019 Macan can reach 60 mph in 6.3 seconds or 6.1 seconds with Launch Control.
The 2019 Porsche Macan starts at $50,950.
