MINI has unveiled the updated 2019 MINI Cooper hardtop 2 door, 4 door and convertible models, which are going to debut next week at the Detroit Auto Show. In typical MINI fashion you can’t really see the mid-cycle facelift, but if you look closely you’ll see updated headlights and taillights, plus a few other updates.
Starting with the headlights, the 2019 MINI Hardtop 2 Door, new MINI Hardtop 4 Door and the MINI Convertible get more expressive headlights, with optional LED lighting. The rear taillights have also been redesigned with a Union Jack design. There are also new exterior colors, like Emerald Grey metallic, Starlight Blue metallic, and Solaris Orange metallic. The 2019 models also ride on new 17-inch alloy wheels.
Inside the infotainment system is now accessed via either a new 6.5-inch or 8.7-inch display. There’s also a wireless charging feature for your cell phone and for the first time ever, a MINI logo projection feature projects the new MINI logo onto the ground in front of the driver’s side door for 20 seconds, or permanently if the door is left open.
