Following the reveal of the updated 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class models, Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the updates to the 2019 C63. As the hottest version of the C-Class family, the 2019 Mercedes-AMG C63 S models are offered with two engine options with the top version packing 503 horsepower.
We get to see the updates to the 2019 C63 family, which includes the coupe, convertible and sedan at the New York Auto Show this week. On the outside the most noticeable update is the new Panamericana grille that’s part of the restyled front fascia. At the rear the updates are smaller with new twin tailpipes and a restyled rear diffuser.
The C63’s 4.0L V8 generates either 469 horsepower in the C63 or 503 horsepower in the C63 S and is mated to a new nine-speed automatic transmission. Even though the transmission now has an extra two gears, the 0-60 times remain the same at 3.9 seconds for the C63 S and 4.0 seconds for the C63.
Inside the 2019 C63 gets Mercedes’ new 12.3-inch infotainment system and a new AMG steering wheel.
