It’s been known for a while that the 2019 Jeep Cherokee is going to get a new, less controversial face. Now Jeep has unveiled the refreshed 2019 Cherokee ahead of its debut next month at the Detroit Auto Show.
The 2019 Jeep Cherokee features a completely restyled front end that is less polarizing, but also a bit less distinct. It’s dual headlight setup has been replaced by traditional headlights with a restyled lower fascia. The rear also gets new taillights, that look similar to the Jeep Compass.
Jeep says that the 2019 Cherokee will also be available with more efficient powertrain options as well. Could that mean that the 2019 Cherokee could also get the new turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder that debuted last month with the debut of the 2018 Wrangler JL?
Inside the updates are smaller with a few trim updates to give it a more upscale look and feel.
We’ll have all the details next month when the 2019 Cherokee debuts on January 16 in Detroit.
