Late last year it was reported that the Cadillac ATS sedan may be deleted from Cadillac’s 2019 lineup, since GM did not submit the 2019 ATS sedan to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s VIN logs. The VIN code documents only listed the 2019 ATS Coupe, which suggested that the sedan version wouldn’t be offered and now we have more proof of the ATS sedan’s demise.

GM’s fleet order guide for 2019 has powered up and the Cadillac ATS sedan is missing from the list.

While the evidence seems to mounting that the Cadillac ATS will only be offered as a coupe in 2019, there’s still hope that Cadillac will soon offer another new entry-level sedan. Late last year Johan de Nysschen, Cadillac’s former president announced that a CT5 sedan would soon join the lineup.

Cadillac has yet to officially announce that the ATS sedan is done after this year, but if the speculation is accurate, we should hear about it soon.
