The 2019 BMW i8 Roadster is scheduled to arrive this spring, but before you run down to your local BMW dealer to get one, you’ll prob want to know that the 2019 i8 Roadster will be the most expensive BMW available. The 2019 BMW i8 Roadster will arrive with a $164,295 price tag, which is $15,800 more than the i8 Coupe at $148,495.
That price tag gets you leather seats, 20-inch wheels, a head-up display, Apple CarPlay connectivity and adaptive dampers. According to BMW Blog, you can add Laser Lights for an additional $6,300 and Black Brake Calipers and Ceramic Controls will set you back another $2,500.
A First Edition trim level will be available for the i8 Roadster, starting at $174,090, but we don’t know yet what features it adds.
For a refresher all 2019 i8 models are powered by a 1.5L turbocharged three-cylinder engine and electric motor that generate a combined 369 horsepower. Both models also have an electric driving range up to 18 miles.
