On the outside the 2019 Audi A8 borrows styling cues from the Prologue concept that debuted in 2014. Audi says that the design of the new A8 signals the start of a new era for Audi, with an emphasis on progressive elegance. Going forward we can expect the rest of the Audi lineup to borrow cues from the A8 flagship.

Based on the ASF multi-material frame technology, the body of the 2019 A8 consists of 58 percent aluminum parts paired with hot form-steel and ultra-high strength carbon fiber reinforced polymer components to give it a stronger body in white over the outgoing model.
