Aston Martin is upping the DB11 with the introduction of the 2019 Aston Martin DB11 AMR. The DB11 AMR is cementing its place as the flagship in the DB11 lineup as it serves as a replacement for the V12-powered DB11.

The 2019 Aston Martin DB11 AMR is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12. The V12 now generates 630 horsepower, 30 more than the outgoing DB11 V12, and 127 horsepower more than the V8-powered DB11. Torque remains unchanged at 516 lb-ft. The DB11 AMR reaches 62mph in 3.7 seconds, a .02 second improvement over the outgoing model, with a top speed of 208 mph.

Aston Martin’s engineers also refined the DB11 AMR’s chassis to give it a greater sense of connection without harming the ride. A new shift calibration for the transmission and a slightly more vocal exhaust note ensures the DB11 AMR expresses its character more explicitly when Sport mode is engaged.

The DB11 AMR is distinguished by exposed carbon fiber and gloss black detailing. This includes dark headlight surrounds and smoked taillamps with a darkened front grille and tailpipes, gloss black roof, exposed weave of the carbon fiber hood blades and side strakes. The dark theme continues inside, with monotone leather and alcantara upholstery and a bold contrasting central lime stripe.

Pricing for the 2019 Aston Martin DB11 AMR starts at $241,000.
