Acura has unveiled a unique 2019 Acura RDX A-Spec that has been tweaked by by Graham Rahal Performance (GRP). The unique RDX has received several performance and styling upgrades, with the most significant upgrade being the 345 horsepower under the hood.
To tweak the RDX’s 2.0L four-cylinder engine, GRP upgraded the engine with a new turbocharger, intake and exhaust manifolds, and downpipe. PRL Racing also created a custom intercooler and intake setup, while GRP added a custom lightweight cat-back exhaust system. Lastly KTuning created a custom ECU map for the RDX. The upgrades give the 2.0L engine 345 horsepower and 370 lb-ft of torque.
Other performance upgrades include Eibach sport springs that lower the RDX by two inches, six-piston StopTech brakes and lightweight 21-inch HRE P101 wheels with 265/40 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
Inside the unique Acura RDX also gets carbon fiber accents and a custom steering wheel designed by renowned racing driver Max Papis of MPI Innovations. Troy Lee Designs also created custom graphics for the RDX.
The Graham Rahal Performance RDX A-Spec is debuting this week at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
