We’re still waiting for an all-new Acura ILX, but in the meantime, Acura has given the 2019 ILX a big refresh. The biggest change happens at the front where the 2019 Acura ILX now has a more aggressive face with the brand’s Diamond Pentagon grille.

Just like the rest of the Acura lineup, the 2019 ILX is inspired by the Acura Precision concept. The 2019 Acura ILX is all-new from the A-pillars forward, which includes a more sculpted hood, the Acura Jewel Eye LED headlights and a more aggressive front bumper. At the rear, the 2019 ILX continues the more aggressive look with an updated fascia, new LED taillights, and a new lower diffuser. There are also new standard 17-inch wheels.

If you want to dial up the style even more, the 2019 ILX A-Spec adds dark chrome trim to the front grille and lower fascia, LED fog lights, darkened headlights and taillights, and a gloss-black decklid spoiler. The ILX A-Spec rides on Shark Gray 18-inch wheels. Inside the ILX A-Spec adds a graphite-silver dash accent with chrome insert, A-Spec badged steering wheel with contrast stitching and aluminum sport pedals. The seats are wrapped in Ebony or Red leather with black Ultrasuede center panels.

Besides the styling upgrades, the 2019 ILX also gets more tech features, like the AcuraWatch driver assistance technology and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Under the hood the 2019 ILX is powered by a 201-hp 2.4L four-cylinder engine that’s mated to an eight-speed dual clutch transmission.

The 2019 Acura ILX will arrives in October.
