Porsche is going to unveil the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS this weekend at Goodwood Festival of Speed, but a batch of photos have already leaked online. We already got a preview of the 911 GT2 RS at E3 2017 with the premiere of Forza 7, but here are the first official photos.
The leaked photos of the 2018 911 GT2 RS come courtesy of user Loess on Rennlist, which are our first look at the hardcore 911. Even though Porsche has yet to release any details, the 2018 911 GT2 RS that we see here gets a list of aerodynamic upgrades and huge air intakes. The interior gets some carbon-fiber parts and the seats feature the Weissach badge.
The big news that we’re waiting to hear about is what will power the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS. It’s being reported that it will get a twin-turbo 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine with as much as 700 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, which will give it a 0-60 mph time around 3 seconds and a 212 mph top speed.
