Land Rover has announced the updates to the 2018 Land Rover Discovery. The biggest updates to the 2018 Discovery include a new diesel engine and updated infotainment system.
The 2018 Discovery is now available with a 3.0L turbocharged V6 diesel that generates 254hp and 443-lb. ft. of torque. The diesel engine is mated to a standard ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. The new diesel engine is available in three trim levels as well: SE Td6, HSE Td6 and HSE Luxury Td6 with pricing starting at $55,085.
Inside the 2018 Discovery gets the Land Rover InControl Touch Pro infotainment system with a 10-inch touchscreen interface. 4G Wi-Fi is available and a 12.3-inch Interactive Driver Display TFT instrument cluster has been added to HSE and HSE Luxury models. A Head-Up Display is also an option on the HSE and HSE Luxury models. Lastly to add a new level of safety the 2018 Discovery now comes with a standard Emergency Braking system with pedestrian detection.
On the outside a new Bryon Blue has been added to the paint palette.
Pricing for the 2018 Land Rover Discovery starts at $53,085 and tops out at $68,485 for the top spec Discovery HSE Luxury Td6.
