Honda has announced that it’s offering a special lease rate on the 2018 Honda Clarity Electric, which can now be leased for as low as $199 a month for 36 months. The lease only requires a $1,499 drive off and includes up to 20,000 miles a year. To make it even more attractive the Clarity Electric also qualifies for a $2,500 in California and Oregon. The Clarity Electric is also eligible for California Clean Air Vehicle stickers.
While the Clarity Electric does tout the fact that it can transport up to five passengers, one of the main reasons that it hasn’t made that much of an impact is because of its low 89 mile driving range. The Clarity Electric can be recharged up to 80 percent in 30 minutes with DC Fast Charging. Plug it into a 240-volt, Level 2 charger and it takes just 3.5 hours to fully recharge the Clarity Electric.

Honda has not announced how long the new lease rate will be offered.
