The styling of the new Civic Type R probably won’t differ much from the prototype, but what we’re more interested in are the specs for the turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder. Honda claims that the new Civic Type R will “deliver the most rewarding drive in the hot hatch segment,” which includes the awesome Ford Focus RS.
Production of the Civic Type R will kick off this summer and when it arrives here in the US, the new Civic Type R will be the first ever Honda-badged Type R sold here.
