Earlier this week, Ford unveiled the restyled 2018 Mustang coupe and now we have our first look at the updated convertible.
Just like the coupe, the 2018 Mustang convertible gets a new sleeker face that Ford describes as a “leaner, meaner look.” The rear also gets updated taillights and there are three new paint colors and 12 wheel choices.

Under the hood, the 3.7L V6 is gone, so buyers will only be able to choose between the 2.3L turbocharged four-cylinder and the updated 5.0L V8. Both engines can be mated to a new 10-speed automatic transmission and a new MagneRide suspension is optional.

The 2018 Mustang gets updated technology, like a customizable 12-inch all-digital instrument cluster, MyMode with memory function that remembers your driving preferences for the next time you drive, and new driver-assist features such as Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection.

The 2018 Mustang will arrive this fall.
