2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon will be 200 pounds lighter than the Hellcat

Dodge has released the second teaser video of the 2018 Challenger SRT Demon that is going to debut in April at the 2017 New York Auto Show.

Dodge has released the second teaser video of the 2018 Challenger SRT Demon that is going to debut in April at the 2017 New York Auto Show. The new top dog version of the Challenger lineup will receive “adjustments” to the wheels, steering, suspension, brakes, interior construction and components to make it Dodge’s “ultimate performance halo” model.

Dodge hasn’t revealed if there will be any upgrades to the supercharged 6.2L V8, but even if there isn’t, the new Demon’s performance will benefit from a 200 pound weight reduction over the Hellcat version.

Dodge is going to release a total of 12 teaser videos of the Challenger SRT Demon, one each week leading up to its debut on www.ifyouknowyouknow.com. The Challenger SRT Demon will officially debut on April 12.
