BMW has unveiled new special edition versions of the 2018 X5 and X6 SUVs – the BMW X5 Special Edition and BMW X6 M Sport Edition.
The BMW X5 Special Edition features the M Sport package with Dakota leather trim with heated seats for the driver and front passenger. Buyers can choose a Alcantara black leather seats instead with M badging at no extra cost, plus BMW Individual extended leather upholstery Merino in five color versions are also available. The BMW X5 Special Edition also comes with sun protection glass and the Multifunctional Instrument Display. The Special Edition trim is available on all X5 models except the BMW X5 M50d.
The BMW X6 M Sport is available in Long Beach Blue, Carbon Black or Mineral White Blue. Inside it gets carbon fiber interior trim strips. The M Sport Edition also adds the equipment features of the M Sport package and 20-inch M light-alloy wheels. 21-inch M light-alloy wheels with a double-spoke design are optional. Just like the X5, the X6 Special Edition is available on all versions of the X6, except the BMW X6 M50d.
The two special-edition models will be available starting in December, but BMW has not announced if they will be available in the United States.
