The 2018 BMW X2 isn’t going to arrive in showrooms until spring, but a few order guides for the new SUV have popped up, giving us a few more details. Pricing for the 2018 BMW X2 will start at $39,395, which is $2,500 more than the starting price for the X1 xDrive28i.
The X2 xDrive28i will come standard with the same 228-hp 2.0L four-cylinder as the X1, plus it gets SensaTec seats, a 7-speaker audio system and 18-inch Y-Spoke alloy wheels. Power-folding mirrors, a panoramic roof and auto-dimming mirrors are part of the $2,350 Convenience Package.
The Driver Assistance Package adds safety features like departure warning, forward collision warning, low-speed emergency braking and adaptive cruise control. The Driver Assistance package only adds $700 to the price, but the caveat is that you have to also order the $2,350 Convenience Package and $2,600 Premium Package to get it.
If you want your 2018 X2 to be a bit sportier, the $4,650 M SportX Package adds 19-inch Bicolor wheels, a sport-tuned transmission, an M Sport suspension that lowers the X2 0.4-inches, an M steering wheel and a few other goodies.
Production of the 2018 BMW X2 kicked off in November.
