BMW has yet to officially unveil the 2018 BMW M5 and has only teased us with a round of photos of a camouflaged M5. Well the new Need for Speed Payback game has given us our first look at the next-generation 2018 BMW M5.
The 2018 BMW M5 will debut in September
The new Need for Speed game was just announced and within its promotional materials, you can see the new M5. Rather than deny it, BMW has confirmed that the M5 pictured, is in fact the new M5 and just a rendering. BMW M even posted a photo from the game on its Facebook page.

What we already know about the new M5 is that it will be powered by a revised version of the twin-turbocharged 4.4L V8 that will generate around 600 horsepower. The M5 will also have an all-wheel drive system that will let you manually select between rear- or all-wheel drive. We’ll get all the details this fall when the 2018 BMW M5 debuts at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
