With the success of rivals, like the Honda HR-V and Chevy Trax, Toyota is now about to jump into the competitive subcompact crossover segment with the C-HR. The C-HR has debuted today at the Geneva Motor Show.
The C-HR was originally previewed in concept form and luckily most of the aggressive design has remained, including its coupe-like roofline and unique C-pillar. Compared to its competitors, the C-HR will likely rival the Nissan Juke for the title of the funkiest looking subcompact crossover.

The C-HR is based on the new TNGA platform, which is also the basis for the Prius. The C-HR will be offered with a 1.8L hybrid powertrain or a 1.2L or 2.0L four-cylinder. The 1.2L will be offered in Europe, while the U.S. will only get the 1.8L hybrid and 2.0L models.
Toyota will likely reveal the US-spec C-HR later this month at the New York Auto Show.
