Toyota is going to reveal the new 2016 Toyota Tacoma in just a few days on January 12, but Toyota has been kind enough to release a few official photos now. What we have here the first photos of the next-generation 2016 Tacoma, but Toyota has yet to release any other details.

For the first time in years, the Tacoma is set to have some real competition in the midsize truck segment, thanks to the arrival of the 2015 GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado pickups. We do know that the Tacoma will be offered with a V6, since we see the “V6” badge on the tailgate, but we will have to wait and see if it’s still the same 4.0L V6 that powers the current Tacoma.
