2016 Mazda CX-3 rated at 29/ 35 MPG

Mazda has released the fuel economy specs for the 2016 Mazda CX-3 subcompact crossover, which gets up to 29 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.

Mazda has released the fuel economy specs for the 2016 Mazda CX-3 subcompact crossover, which gets up to 29 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.
Front-wheel-drive versions will have an estimated 29 mpg city/35 mpg highway/31 mpg combined EPA rating, while the AWD versions are rated at 27 mpg city/32 mpg highway/29 mpg combined. To compare, the 2016 Honda HR-V is rated at 28/35 mpg on the highway with 2WD and 27/32 with AWD. The CX-3 is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder engine with 146 horsepower and 146 lb-ft. of torque that is mated to a standard six-speed automatic transmission.

The 2016 CX-3 will go on sale in late summer 2015.
