The 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport is now in its final testing phase and now it’s being reported that the SUV is going to officially debut on September 3.
Land Rover has released several teaser photos of the new Discovery Sport and now we even have a video of the new SUV. The vehicle is now in its final testing phase and Land Rover says that prototypes have already covered approximately 750k test miles, which included driving in water depths of 23.6 inches. A total of 11,720 tests have been completed.

Murray Dietsch, Program Director, Land Rover, said, “Discovery Sport prototypes have covered approximately 750,000 miles during the testing phase, in some of the world’s harshest and most challenging terrains and climates. A total of 181 prototype vehicles were built, completing over 11,000 tests over their lifetimes around the globe, ensuring total confidence in the robustness of build and design of the vehicles.”
