Jaguar is going to officially take the wraps off the compact XE sedan next week in London, but in the meantime Jaguar has released another teaser video of the 2016 XE.
The Jaguar XE will debut on Monday September 8, but we do already know a few things about it:
1. It is based on Jaguar’s new scalable aluminum platform.
2. The base engines will be four-cylinder engines from Jaguar’s new “Ingenium” engine lineup.
3. Jaguar expects the most fuel efficient model to get over 75 mpg on the EU cycle.
4. The XE will also borrow the F-Type’s supercharged V6, which generates either 340 or 380-hp. It will also give the XE a top speed over 186 mph.
5. It will get a new InControl infotainment system that includes Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity.
