Jaguar has released a photo of the 2016 Jaguar XE, which is clad in clear bodywork to highlight its aluminum construction.

Jaguar has released a photo of the 2016 Jaguar XE, which is clad in clear bodywork to highlight its aluminum construction.
Although the prototype still manages to keep most of the final details under wraps, we can see the overall shape of the 2016 XE here. The XE will rival models like the BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class when it arrives next year.

The XE will be Jaguar’s first model that will be built on Jaguar’s all-aluminum platform and will be powered by a range of Ingenium 2.0L four-cylinder engines in addition to the F-Type’s V6. Rear and all-wheel-drive versions are also expected.
