2016 Honda CR-V Special Edition introduced

Last year Honda gave the 2015 CR-V an extensive refresh with a new engine, improved styling and more features. Now for the 2016 model year, the CR-V is getting a new Special Edition trim level that is positioned above the base LX trim.

The Special Edition CR-V is priced at $25,275 and adds larger 17-inch alloy wheels with an exclusive two tone finish, second-row and rear privacy glass, and a security system. The CR-V SE is available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

All CR-V models are powered by a 2.4L four-cylinder with 185 horsepower and 181 lb-ft. of torque that is mated to a CVT. The front-wheel drive CR-V is rated at 26/ 33 mpg, while the all-wheel drive version is rated at 25/31 mpg.
